The nearest town is 1 hour away from the lodge, right at the northern entrance of Illescas National Park. Puerto Rico is a fishing village, modest, and has a pharmacy and a small market where our staff can obtain some basic items if necessary.

We have a first aid kit with medications and equipment for basic emergencies. The nearest hospital is in Sechura, a 1-hour and 45-minute journey. If necessary, transportation can be arranged to take you from the lodge to Sechura’s health center.

The difficulty of the wave depends on the swell. When we have small to medium swells, the wave is friendly and ideal for bigger boards, making it easier for those who are learning. There is less current, and the ocean floor is sandy. With big swells the wave is more challenging.

Yes, it’s family-friendly, and kids absolutely enjoy it. The house is well-equipped for babies and children, featuring a crib, toys, and boogie boards. The flat sandy beach right in front is ideal for them. Our gastronomy service is also adapted to their preferences. We recommend bringing a first aid kit with any necessary medications for children.

It depends on availability. There is the possibility of booking a single room for a person traveling alone.

Punta Luna is a unique place, surrounded by nature and wildlife. It’s a great spot for relaxing, reading, and going to the beach. There are numerous walks you can adventure around the place. It’s a great opportunity to do all those things you never have time for

We have two drinking water stations at the Lodge—one in the upstairs kitchen and another downstairs. It’s advisable to bring a reusable water bottle for your convenience during the stay. Alternatively, we can provide a water bottle if needed.

We do not have laundry service at the Lodge. If needed, the staff can hand wash some clothing.

Once you’re at Punta Luna, there’s no need to carry cash. You might require some money for the entrance and exit transfer from the Lodge and for tipping, if you choose to do so.
