It is recommended to foil with small to medium swell. It’s more enjoyable with high tide. A 4.5m sail is usually used along with a board with higher volume to take off more easily, as the wind can be gusty, and you have to pass through the waves
The wind direction and the quality of the wave create perfect conditions to improve your wingfoil skills. Especially with high tide, the wave becomes fat and provides a lot of space for turns. The wave is predictable, and you can quickly go upwind
Daytime temperature ranging from 23ºC to 27ºC - Nighttime temperature from 19ºC to 21ºC - Average water temperature 19ºC.
The wind is thermal and consistent throughout the year, usually offshore in the morning and side-offshore in the afternoon. Averages 18-25 knots for over 300 days a year.
The most consistent wave season is from April to November, with southern swells. From December to February, northern swells bring smaller and less consistent waves.
We have Surf / Paddle / Kite / Wingfoil equipment. Some are included in the stay and can be requested from our staff for free use. Other equipment is available for rent and requires prior inquiry.
